MUVIN: Verona aims to become Italy's national center for wine culture

Verona has launched the MUVIN project to promote and enhance wine culture as a key component of local and national heritage. The initiative foresees the creation of exhibition spaces and educational programmes designed to highlight viticultural traditions and attract visitors interested in oenology.

  • Goal: to build a cultural and educational network around wine, fostering knowledge and accessibility.
  • Planned activities: exhibitions, sensory routes, workshops and training aimed at both professionals and the public.
  • Expected impact: strengthening Verona's cultural offer, supporting wine tourism and promoting local production.
  • Partnerships: cooperation with cultural institutions, wine academies and local operators for exhibitions and educational projects.

The MUVIN project is presented as an opportunity to organise research, outreach and promotion of Italy's wine heritage around a hub based in Verona.
