The Gran Balon, Turin's historic and famous flea and antiques market, returns every second Sunday of the month to the characteristic Borgo Dora district. For decades, it has been a reference point for lovers of vintage, collectibles and rare items, attracting thousands of visitors in search of unique pieces and curiosities. The last edition of the year will take place on 14 December, once again offering a special opportunity to immerse yourself in a lively atmosphere rich in history.
The market winds its way between Via Lanino, Via Mameli, Canale Carpanini and the charming Cortile del Maglio, hosting over 300 stalls and around 50 shops. Here, antique dealers, second-hand dealers, artisans and collectors offer a wide variety of items: antique furniture, ceramics, books, vintage clothing, vinyl records, toys, modern antiques and handcrafted creations. However, the Gran Balon is more than just a market: it is a cultural meeting place where past and present coexist through stories, memories and small treasures that tell of distant worlds.
Each edition also offers themed exhibitions, art installations and numerous historic venues where you can take a break. Open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and easily accessible by tram, bus or on foot from the city centre, the Gran Balon remains one of the city's most fascinating events.
