Medimex 2026 in Taranto: five days of concerts, meetings and training

Medimex returns to Taranto from 17 to 21 June 2026 with a programme designed to blend live entertainment and development of the regional music sector. The edition features headline concerts, showcases highlighting the latest regional and national acts, conferences and networking activities for industry professionals and artists.

Highlights include international names and original productions curated by the festival. The cultural offer is complemented by talks, exhibitions and training opportunities aimed at professionals, emerging musicians and music fans.

• Headliners announced: Pet Shop Boys (first European tour date, exclusive to Southern Italy), Suede (only Italian date), Slowdive (only Italian date), NYC Redux Band playing the music of Ramones (world premiere, Medimex production), Agents of Time
• Activities: evening concerts, regional showcases, industry conference, exhibitions and outreach initiatives

The festival is promoted within the Puglia Sounds project, aiming to support local talent and strengthen the regional music ecosystem. Funding calls and notices for artists and operators are expected to be published soon.
