M.C. Escher in Virtual Reality: immersive installation at Museo Eremitani, Padua

From 29 March to 19 July 2026 the Museo Eremitani in Padua presents an immersive virtual reality experience dedicated to M.C. Escher. The installation allows visitors to navigate three-dimensional environments inspired by the artist's prints, turning his graphic works into explorable spaces.

Duration and access: the full experience lasts about 30 minutes, with roughly 15 minutes spent in VR. It is suitable for visitors aged 8 and up.

• Works and content: environments based on iconic pieces such as "Relativity", "Waterfall", "Stars" and "Hand with Reflecting Sphere", featuring tessellations, impossible architectures and perspective illusions.
• Technology: the project uses LBVR solutions to enable movement and interaction within 3D spaces.
• Practical tips: booking is recommended; arrive a few minutes early, wear comfortable footwear and report any conditions that may affect the use of headsets (motion sensitivity, pregnancy, heart conditions, etc.).
