Mare Interno: group exhibition at the Galata Museo del Mare

From 14 to 25 March 2026 the Saletta dell'Arte at the Galata Museo del Mare presents the group exhibition "Mare Interno – Bodies, memories and geographies of water", curated by Gina Affinito. The show brings together 28 artists who address the sea through painting, photography, installation and sculpture.

The exhibition frames the sea not merely as a landscape but as an inner dimension and a repository of memories: water becomes a metaphor for change, time and boundaries. Works range from autobiographical investigations to conceptual and poetic approaches, creating a dialogue between different languages and perspectives.
