Throughout May, the WWF Bosco Rocconi Nature Reserve in the Maremma area of Grosseto runs a varied program of outdoor activities for families, nature lovers and photographers. Events are designed to showcase local habitats and species through guided walks, hands-on workshops and thematic talks set in the Tuscan landscape.

• The small freshwater ponds: guided walks focused on minor aquatic ecosystems that host newts, frogs, dragonflies and turtles.
• Peregrine falcon: birdwatching outings to observe raptors on the reserve's rock faces and around Roccalbegna.
• World Bee Day: a session on the role of pollinators with a workshop to build nesting sites for solitary bees.
• International Day for Biological Diversity: talks on the relationships between plants and pollinators and the importance of mutualism.
• European Parks Day: two free hikes departing from Rocchette di Fazio (Semproniano) and Roccalbegna; groups meet inside the Oasis to celebrate thirty years of conservation management.
