On Sunday 17 May 2026 the Bricherasio Historic Park in Fubine will be one of the stops of Il giardino diffuso, included in the Golosaria 2026 programme. The event features free guided tours designed to showcase a seventeenth-century park returned to public use through an extensive restoration.

The renovation combined archival research and botanical planning: historical documents helped reconstruct the original layout of the terraced garden, while agronomists and landscape architects organised the new green design.

• More than 25,000 new plants including shrubs, trees, roses, bulbs and herbaceous species.
• Planted 3,495 shrubs across 93 species and 206 trees of 82 varieties, with special focus on historic roses.
• Restored the historic greenhouse for educational use and implemented accessibility upgrades, including an architecturally integrated lift.
• Multimedia route “Art, History and Nature” with augmented reality, audio guides, QR codes, biodiversity mapping and AI-based digital content to recreate the park’s historic atmosphere.

Sustainability was a priority: pathways built with recyclable materials and a lighting system designed to reduce energy use and light pollution, respecting plant photoperiods.
