Guided hike in the Tenuta di San Rossore to Spiaggia del Gombo

Spend a day in direct contact with nature on a route that can be done only with an authorized guide. The itinerary crosses floodplain forests, water mirrors, pinewoods and dunes, ending at the wild Spiaggia del Gombo—one of the most evocative spots on the Tuscan coast.

• Meeting point: 09:30 at the San Rossore Visitor Centre (Loc. Cascine Vecchie). Departure by 10:00.
• Duration: about 7 hours (return expected at 17:00).
• Route: guided loop through woodland, pine forest and dunes to the sea.
• Participants: minimum 10, maximum 25 people.
• Lunch: packed lunch required.
• Dogs: not allowed.
• Fee: €25 full / €17 reduced (ages 6-18 and university students). Fee includes an authorized guide (GAE) and access ticket to the Park's highest protection Zone A.

Practical tips

Wear appropriate outdoor clothing: trekking or trail shoes, at least 1.5 L of water, snacks and packed lunch, and a waterproof garment. Binoculars, a camera and insect repellent may be useful.
