Life Beyond Life Film Festival stops in Avigliana

Avigliana, 18 May 2026 – The sixth edition of the Life Beyond Life Film Festival, a cinematic initiative examining death, spirituality and life beyond life, will be in Avigliana for an evening of screenings at the Auditorium Daniele Bertotto.

This year's festival, presented by the Università popolare Artinmovimento and supported by local cultural bodies, features 52 films from 23 countries, selected from more than 360 submissions. The Avigliana event is scheduled for Monday 18 May 2026, from 19:30 to 23:30.

• 16–17 May: Auditorium of Pino Torinese, 15:00–23:00
• 18 May: Auditorium Daniele Bertotto, Avigliana, 19:30–23:30
• 19 May: Cine-Teatro Magnetto, Almese, 19:30–23:30
• 20 May: Cinema Centrale ArtHouse, Turin – closing night and awards, 19:30–23:30

Andrea Morghen, co-founder and programming director, says the aim is to "reach as many people as possible" to encourage reflection on a topic still surrounded by taboos. Artistic director Nunzio Gentiluomo calls the festival "a cinematic journey through spirituality, philosophy, science and humanity." Music is included this year with a contribution from musician Carmelo Spoto.

The festival is spread across the Metropolitan City of Turin and involves institutional and cultural partners active in regional film promotion.
