The solo exhibition Laudato sii by Claudio Boldrini opens in Spello, presenting a series of works focused on the relationship between humanity and nature. The show draws explicit inspiration from the Canticle of the Creatures by Saint Francis and Pope Francis's encyclical, which inform the artist's thematic approach.
Boldrini's new paintings, conceived to engage with the historical and spiritual setting of the town, use color and symbolic elements to invite contemplation and a shared reflection on the fragile balance of the natural world and the need for renewed ecological awareness.
Why visit: the exhibition offers a contemplative and critical encounter with contemporary painting that merges poetic imagery with environmental concern, framed by the evocative setting of Spello.
The show reconfirms Boldrini's presence in Italy's contemporary art scene and provides visitors with an intense sensory and reflective experience in the Umbrian countryside.
