Reggia di Monza on the national museums portal

The Reggia di Monza has been listed on the national portal museiitaliani.it, a digital showcase that gathers practical information on opening hours, tickets and exhibitions. This inclusion increases the Villa Reale's visibility and helps promote its temporary shows and permanent collection.

The visitor route at the Reggia includes 28 rooms and features the Reggia Contemporanea project, which brings together over one hundred works. Alongside the permanent collection, the site regularly hosts three temporary exhibitions:

  • History of the Kingdom of Italy – From Napoleon to Umberto II (Belvedere)
  • Sandokan – The Tiger Roars Again (Orangerie)
  • UR-RA – Unity of Religions – Responsibility of Art by Michelangelo Pistoletto (entrance areas and first noble floor)

Following formal museum recognition by the Lombardy Region (2025) and the portal listing, the Reggia is consolidating its role as an organised cultural site with defined management standards and enhanced promotion. General Director Bartolomeo Corsini highlighted the need to combine preservation with openness, and the official newsletter has been relaunched to keep the public informed.

For up-to-date information on opening times, ticketing and guided tours, consult museiitaliani.it or the Reggia's official website: the portal entry streamlines access to services and improves communication about current exhibitions.
