New Venice venue for the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation’s 30th anniversary

To celebrate its thirtieth anniversary, the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation has opened a new venue on Isola di San Giacomo in Venice. The space officially opens on 7 May 2026 with Fanfare/Lament, the first solo exhibition in Italy by young artist Matt Copson. The inauguration coincides with the 61st International Art Exhibition – Venice Biennale and underscores the foundation’s mission to support emerging artists.

The new venue strengthens the foundation’s presence in the lagoon and provides a platform for exhibition formats that engage with the Biennale context, including site-specific work and programs dedicated to early-career practitioners.
