Isola del Giglio: 'A Quarter of Wineries' — 3rd edition in Giglio Castello

From May 22 to 24, 2026, Giglio Castello will host the third edition of 'A Quarter of Wineries', an event celebrating local food and wine traditions with visits to the borgo's historic cellars. The festival highlights island flavors and the charm of the medieval alleys through tastings, live music and social gatherings.

Visitors can sample typical dishes served inside the old cellars: coastal and land specialties, Giglio cavatelli pasta, and a finale of traditional desserts in the historic "Lombi" hall.

The event also showcases the island's winemaking heritage, recalling the former production spaces of Ansonaco, the local wine. Live music—ranging from local folk to popular tunes—will animate the evenings, and Saturday night will conclude with a DJ set in Piazza Gloriosa.
