Fathers – The Other Side of Love: a Resonant Evening at Colleferro Theatre

On Saturday 21 March 2026 the Vittorio Veneto Theatre in Colleferro presented "Fathers – The Other Side of Love", a multidisciplinary performance that united music, visual art and social reflection. Organized by the association Sisters Heart, the event attracted a large and engaged audience.

The production explored the distinction between genuine care and behaviors that disguise themselves as love but become control or abuse. Irina Arozarena and the all-female collective SistersHeart delivered an evocative musical journey, while artworks by Diego Stella—displayed as large-scale backdrops—enhanced a synesthetic dialogue between sound and image.

Highlights

  • Date & Venue: 21 March 2026, Vittorio Veneto Theatre, Colleferro.
  • Artists: Irina Arozarena and the SistersHeart project; visual works by Diego Stella.
  • Organiser: Sisters Heart association with local institutional support.
  • Format: live music, projections, foyer exhibition and intergenerational involvement.

A foyer exhibition of Diego Stella’s canvases welcomed attendees and set the emotional tone for the evening, turning the theatre entrance into a contemplative space. The packed auditorium responded with focused attention and warm applause, culminating in a moment when the artist invited the audience to dance.

Local officials, including Mayor Pierluigi Sanna, attended the event, alongside families and young participants—among them children from the "Sisterini" group from Paliano—demonstrating the project’s intergenerational reach. A young attendee conducted an interview on-site, creating a meaningful exchange between generations.

"Fathers" affirmed the capacity of local arts programming to foster civic reflection through creative expression, promoting emotional education and drawing attention to the importance of healthy, respectful relationships while condemning abusive behaviour masked as love.
