The Fellini Museum in Rimini has received accreditation from the National Museum System, recognizing high standards in management, collection care and visitor services. The assessment, carried out by the Emilia-Romagna Region in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, rewards museums that demonstrate organizational quality and innovative programming.

Inspectors highlighted the museum's immersive routes on Federico Fellini, well-curated temporary exhibitions and a strong focus on visitor experience. Museum leadership notes the accreditation validates their curatorial and outreach strategies and will help broaden audience engagement through educational and digital initiatives.

Regional impact: joining the national network reinforces the Fellini Museum's position within Rimini's cultural hub and encourages partnerships with other local and national institutions. Accreditation also opens up further opportunities for collaborative projects, funding and international exchange.

With the latest regional resolution, eight additional museums in Emilia-Romagna have been accredited; alongside the Fellini Museum, the newly accredited institutions include:

• Museum of Carnival Masks - Documentation and Research Center (Castelnovo di Sotto, RE)
• Municipal Art Gallery of Verrucchio (RN)

The Emilia-Romagna Region began accrediting non-state cultural institutions in 2021, opening annual windows for new candidates and confirmations. The process aims to raise quality standards, improve visitor services and strengthen the territorial network of cultural venues.
