Mimmo Jodice in Color at the Museo del Tesoro di San Gennaro

“Mimmo Jodice in Color” explores a lesser-known side of the photographer’s output: color works from the 1980s that reframe 17th-century Neapolitan painting by isolating details, textures and gestures. The exhibition brings together more than forty images, including previously unseen prints restored for display.

Practical information

The project is produced by D’Uva srl and curated by Sylvain Bellenger. Conservation work was carried out by Barbara Jodice and Marco Spatuzza. Textile design and site-specific draperies involve local designers and students from the Academy of Fine Arts, while the lighting upgrade was conceived by Filippo Cannata.
