Opened on April 26, the exhibition at the Museo d'Arte Orientale E. Chiossone in Genoa is a focused exploration of calligraphic practice in Chinese and Japanese traditions, centered on the so-called "Four Treasures": the brush, paper, ink and inkstone.
The display brings together works from the museum's collection with specialist loans and contributions, presenting original manuscripts and calligraphic sheets alongside tools and seals that document historical techniques and material variations.

Period: from April 26 to October 11, 2026.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00–18:30.
Ticket: included with museum admission.
Curators: Alberto de Simone and Emanuela Patella. The exhibition is supported by the Consulate General of Japan in Italy and specialist institutions.
