During the first weekend of May the Castello di Belgioioso presents I Percorsi dell'Arte, a contemporary art exhibition gathering a curated selection of artists from across Italy. The event is organized under the direction of Doriana Della Volta Doria and includes exhibitions, talks and masterclasses.

Each selected artist will receive a Lectio Magistralis as part of the programme, offering educational sessions on artistic practice and theory. The project also aims to promote and revitalize historic towns and cultural sites that host the exhibitions.

On the afternoon of May 1 a lecture by Alberto D'Atanasio will focus on shadow and light, with references to San Francesco and Giotto. The event additionally supports the maintenance and conservation of the historic venue.
