Francesco Corni's drawings on display at Palazzo Barolo

Palazzo Barolo presents "Viaggio in Italia", an exhibition dedicated to architect and draftsman Francesco Corni (1952–2020). Located on the ground-floor apartments, the display proposes an educational and visual route that highlights the role of drawing in the history of monuments and urban change.

  • Works on show: about forty original drawings and several scaled reproductions.
  • Featured cities: Aosta, Turin, Milan, Venice, Rome and Naples.
  • Focus: graphic analyses of monuments and urban transformations presented in an accessible way.

Dates and hours: the exhibition is split into two periods: 8–17 May 2026 (coinciding with the Turin Book Fair) and 30 May–19 July 2026. During the opening weekend (8–10 May) visiting hours are extended until 23:00.

Guided tours and activities: the Francesco Corni Foundation organises special guided tours on 8, 16 and 17 May 2026. There are also routes and playful activities for children and workshops for adults on urban drawing.

Tickets: admission to the exhibition is included in the Palazzo Barolo ticket: full €8, reduced €6; free entry with the Museums Pass (Abbonamento Musei).

Location: Palazzo Barolo, Via delle Orfane, 7/A, 10122 Turin (TO), Italy. Coordinates: 45.074632, 7.6788301.
