Greve in Chianti hosts collective exhibition “Man, a landscape. From Finland to Italy”

Starting Saturday, April 12, the Museo di Arte Sacra di San Francesco in Greve in Chianti will host a collective exhibition that brings together artistic languages from Northern Europe and the Mediterranean. The show features around thirty works—from lithographs and paintings to watercolours and photography—by nine artists active in Finland and Italy.

• Artists on display: Roma Auskalnyte, Kalle Berg, Sabine Blomqvist, Giuseppe Colombo, Matti Hintikka, Kuutti Lavonen, Elina Länsman, Olli Romppanen, Kaisu Sirviö.
• Curators and organisers: curated by Sabine Blomqvist and Antti Karhunen; promoted by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Greve in Chianti.
• Opening: Saturday, April 12 at 17:00 (vernissage with curators, artists and local representatives).

The exhibition is conceived as an itinerant project aimed at building a cultural and visual bridge between northern and Mediterranean perspectives on landscape, light and memory. Its strength lies in the technical variety and the plurality of artistic approaches on display.
