Gran Premio di Bari: programme of the 9th historical reenactment

From 23 to 26 April 2024 the city of Bari will host the ninth edition of the Gran Premio di Bari historical reenactment, a regularity trial for vintage cars organised by Old Cars Club and included in the ASI Tricolore Circuit. This edition combines exhibitions and family activities with a sustainability plan to achieve carbon neutrality.

Key collateral events include:

• Exhibition "60 years of history. A circuit at the heart" at Teatro Margherita (opening Thursday 16 April, running until 25 April), featuring photos, documents and the original "Coppa Brasile" trophy.
• Mini Gran Premio for children (Saturday 18 April, Puglia Village in Molfetta): pedal‑car circuit for ages 4–10.
• Fashion event "The car is fashion" (Monday 20 April, Teatro Margherita): runway and photo shoot pairing retro cars with vintage style.
• Conference on sustainable urban mobility (Thursday 23 April, Teatro Margherita) with institutional and industry speakers.
• Historic train journey in 1930s carriages between Bari and Polignano (Friday 24 April) in collaboration with FS Treni Turistici Italiani.
• ASI Net‑Zero Classic event (Friday 24 April, Circolo della Vela): presentation of the environmental protection programme for historic motoring.

The event aims to engage the local community and visitors, combining passion for automotive design and engineering with cultural and family programming. The environmental measures include second‑generation biofuel for participating vehicles and certified reforestation projects developed with universities and research institutes.
