Stati Generali della Bellezza arrive in Offida

On 11 and 12 June Offida will host the national Stati Generali della Bellezza, an event organised by the National Association of Italian Local Authorities (ALI) focused on the role of beauty as a driver of territorial development.

Aims include dialogue among local administrators, sharing best practices and creating concrete projects on tourism, culture, urban regeneration, local identity and the enhancement of small villages.

• A recognition for Offida and the Marche region, highlighted for quality of life and care for public spaces.
• Contributions from mayors, councillors and ALI representatives to systematise local experiences.
• Focus on craftsmanship, food and wine, sustainability and citizen participation as development drivers.

According to Tourism Councillor Isabella Bosano, the event is more than a conference: it is «a vision» aiming to turn beauty into an economic, social and cultural engine. Culture Councillor Maria Cataldi emphasised the symbolic value of the Marche and the potential of small villages to offer new solutions for Italian tourism.

Andrea Gentili, regional president of ALI Marche, underlined the importance of small municipalities for national identity, while Mayor Luigi Massa described the meeting as «an opportunity to show the territory’s ability to network and plan policies focused on quality of life».

From Offida will start a national dialogue intended to promote projects and relationships that enhance villages as strategic resources for sustainable development.
