Basilicata showcases 131 municipalities with new maps from Basilicata Today

Basilicata Today Aps has published the new "Basilicata, Charming Authorial Routes" maps in Italian and English to promote the region and its inland areas. The project, developed with the Presidency of the Regional Council of Basilicata, highlights routes in Matera, Potenza and their provinces.

The digital release is part of the association’s 2026 programme, which includes a touring photographic exhibition and the screening of a video documentary on the region’s agri-food excellences. The initiative aims to boost cultural, tourist and gastronomic promotion and to facilitate connections between local producers and Ho.Re.Ca. operators.

• Maps covering 131 municipalities with tourist, cultural, food-and-wine and environmental routes;
• Touring photographic exhibition of more than forty panels;
• Bilingual video documentary on agri-food excellences;
• Free distribution of maps to support territorial promotion and sector operators.

The maps are available for download online and will be officially presented during the "Basilicata journey into cultural and food-and-wine excellences 2026" touring event. The programme aims to strengthen Lucania’s appeal for visitors and tourism professionals.
