Giro d'Italia in Milan: City and Milanosport launch 'Awaiting the Giro' program at Vigorelli

Milan unveils a series of events to accompany the city's stage of the Giro d'Italia. Organized by the Municipality and Milanosport with Rcs's support and local partners, the program highlights the Vigorelli as both a historic venue and a living public space.

• Trofeo Rosa Milanosport: youth track competitions on 20 and 21 May featuring sprint, scratch, keirin and pursuit events.
• Exhibition 'A Life in the Giro': dedicated to the Maglia Rosa and Vincenzo Torriani, hosted at Vigorelli from 24 to 31 May with historic jerseys, photos and archival items.
• Photographic exhibition 'The Righteous in Sport': from 20 to 31 May in the velodrome stands, a free display about athletes who stood for courage and solidarity.
• Race Hub: on 24 May the municipal Cozzi pool will host the Quartier Tappa, the operational and media center for the Milan finish.

The schedule also includes talks and outreach activities aimed at promoting cycling and engaging new generations, reaffirming Vigorelli's role as a cultural and sporting landmark for the city.
