Vado Ligure approves budget adjustment for 2026

The municipal council of Vado Ligure has approved a variation to the 2026-2028 budget that allocates more than €4.6 million for 2026. The measure follows approval of the 2025 financial statement and aims to strengthen citizen services, local investments and quality-of-life initiatives.

The municipality says the package is intended to maintain and consolidate services for families, children, the elderly and people with disabilities, while supporting an extensive programme of cultural, tourist and sporting events.

• Social services: approximately €235,000 allocated to support vulnerable groups through educational projects and socio-assistance services.
• Territorial investments: funds for works and maintenance to improve local infrastructure and liveability.
• Events and promotion: financing for cultural, tourism and recreational initiatives across the municipality.

Mayor Fabio Gilardi commented: “The administration's strong commitment continues, aimed at confirming and consolidating, also for this year, all services and interventions directed to the various segments of the population.” The budget variation is an operational step to implement the municipal programme for 2026 within the 2026-2028 planning period.
