Medieval Castles, Palaces and Villages Days – 25 April 2026

An initiative to showcase the historical heritage of the Lombardy plains: on 25 April 2026 a network of 23 sites — castles, noble residences and medieval villages — opens with activities suitable for all ages.

• Special openings of fortresses, manor houses and palaces not usually accessible to the public.
• Guided tours and thematic routes to explore local history and architecture.
• Historical reenactments, children’s workshops and educational activities.
• Antique markets, local food stalls and artisans showcasing regional products.

Visitors can plan their own itinerary selecting preferred stops and opening times. A "Passport" booklet will be available on site to collect stamps at each location — a fun way to track the journey and keep a memento of the visited places.

Regions involved: the provinces of Bergamo, Brescia, Cremona and Milan. The circuit highlights a widespread network of villages and historic centers in the plains, promoting architectural heritage and local traditions.
