Giacomo De Luca opens in Lecce: solo show at MUST on body, matter and

Opening and key information

Giacomo De Luca launches his first solo exhibition in Italy today, Friday 24 April, at the Museo storico della Città di Lecce (MUST). The opening starts at 19:30 in the Sala Marianna Elmo, with a performance scheduled at 20:00.

The exhibition project

Titled "Il corpo reliquia – Ciò che resta dell’uovo, tra resistenza, archivio e spiritualità nel contemporaneo", the show investigates the relationship between the body, organic matter and the sacred. The display combines sculpture, video and performance to create a sensory and reflective dramaturgy.

Curators and promotion

The solo show is curated by the artist together with Cesare Biasini Selvaggi and Matteo Scabeni. It is part of the "Paesaggi Mediterranei" programme by Lecce Contemporanea Mediterranea and promoted by Bcc Leverano, within a project supporting Italian under-35 artists at a local level.

  • 25 April – performances at 11:00 and 18:00
  • 26 April – performances at 11:00 and 18:00

Visiting information

The exhibition is open Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 21:00. The museum is closed on Mondays. The show runs until 28 May 2026.
