Why visit
The exhibition provides a cohesive reading of Biggi’s trajectory, contrasting works from different phases of his practice. It reveals the interplay between formal discipline and color experimentation, and includes previously unseen pieces that contextualize his influence on late 20th-century Italian art.
What to expect
The display ranges from the experimental black-and-white approaches of I Continui to the color fields of Puntocromie, including works inspired by New York and series addressing political and moral themes like Eventi – Guerra e Pace. The route concludes with the luminous, conceptually light Fleurs.
Short biography
