GAM of Golasecca: 40 years and institutional recognition

GAM – Golasecca Archeologia Multimediale celebrates forty years and has been accredited into the Sistema Musei Italiani. Following a multimedia renewal in 2019 and regional recognition as a museum collection, the institution is strengthening its educational role with projects for the community and schools to promote local archaeological heritage.

Celebration program

• 17 May 2026, 15:00 – Piazza Libertà: opening of the exhibition Rinascite and a new display in the museum windows, tracing the history from Etruscan culture to the Roman era with emphasis on Golasecca artifacts.
• 19 May 2026, 09:45 – Institutional visit by the President of the Lombardy Region: unveiling of three plaques commemorating regional funding for local projects (municipal building safety upgrades, playground refurbishment, nursery school works).
