Franciacorta meets design and art: “Franciacorta Studio” at Milan Design Week

When: April 21–25, 2026
Where: Slowear showroom, Milan

Franciacorta debuts a dedicated space exploring the relationship between wine, material and design. "Franciacorta Studio" is an immersive installation that guides visitors through a sensory itinerary illustrating the terroir and production methods of the region.

Created with Luce di Carrara, the installation focuses on material transformation: marble and natural elements are combined with sound and light to embody the key forces shaping Franciacorta — land, water, wind, human work and time.

  • Exhibition path: themed environments evoking production and natural conditions, from glacial soil-inspired flooring to luminous surfaces referencing Lake Iseo.
  • Tasting program: evening sessions presenting signature Franciacorta styles, from Dosage Zero and Satèn to Millesimato and Reserve cuvées.
  • Special events: a blind tasting led by visually impaired sommelier Luca Boccoli, sound-based wine experiences and a comparative blind tasting of Franciacorta, Champagne and Prosecco.

During Design Week the showroom functions as an elegant, informal meeting place designed to foster exchanges among visitors, designers and industry professionals. The initiative aims to go beyond simple tasting, providing a deeper sense of the cultural and natural landscape behind the wine.

Franciacorta's participation in international and cross-sector events highlights a strategy of promoting the product beyond the wine world by building connections with art, fashion and design.
