Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo: four solo exhibitions open on April 15

The Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo inaugurates its spring season on 15 April 2026 with four solo exhibitions installed in the via Modane spaces. The opening will include the talk "Framing Problems", produced in collaboration with Biennale Tecnologia, featuring contributions from leading cultural and curatorial figures.

Exhibitions at a glance:

  • Diego Marcon – "Krapfen": the first work produced through the New Futures Production Fund (in partnership with the New Museum, New York). The video portrays a haunting narrative that juxtaposes childlike settings with unsettling, charged imagery.
  • Xin Liu – "EXHAUST": the artist's first solo show in Italy, examining the aftermath of technological and scientific ambitions — space debris, degraded materials and altered organisms — through film, installations and new works.
  • June Crespo – "Danzante": the artist's first institutional solo exhibition in Italy, featuring sculptures and installations that engage the body and perception, inspired by floral forms and focused on materiality and texture.
  • Lenz Geerk – "Theatre of the Mind": the artist’s first institutional solo in Italy devoted to painting, presenting figures and landscapes in quiet, introspective atmospheres that reveal meaning through subtle emotional tensions.

Exhibition period: open from 15 April 2026. Diego Marcon runs until 2 August 2026; Xin Liu, June Crespo and Lenz Geerk run until 11 October 2026.

Opening talk: on 15 April, as part of Biennale Tecnologia, the "Framing Problems" talk brings together institutional and curatorial voices. Speakers include Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Guido Saracco, Massimiliano Gioni, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Xin Liu and Diego Marcon.
