Guided hike: Tenuta di San Rossore to the sea

Discover the wild side of Tenuta di San Rossore on a guided route accessible only with an authorized guide. The loop trail crosses floodplain woods, ponds, pine forests and dunes before reaching the remote Spiaggia del Gombo on the Tuscan coast.

• Date: June 28, 2026
• Meeting time: 09:30 at the San Rossore Visitor Centre (Loc. Cascine Vecchie). Departure by 10:00.
• Duration: about 7 hours (expected return 17:00).
• Route: guided loop through woodland, pine forest and dunes to the sea.
• Group size: min 10, max 25 participants.
• Lunch: packed lunch. No dogs allowed.
• Fee: €25 full / €17 reduced (ages 6–18 and university students). Fee includes GAE guide and access ticket for the Park's highest protection Zone A.
• How to get there: from Pisa city centre take bus Line 26 to Cascine Vecchie.

Recommended gear: trekking or trail shoes, at least 1.5 L of water, snacks and packed lunch, waterproof outer layer. Binoculars, camera and insect repellent are useful.
