On 11 May 2026 the Archaeological Park of Ercolano held an event dedicated to cultural accessibility as part of the May of Books 2026 programme. The initiative aimed to increase participation of people with disabilities in the site's activities, supporting autonomy and social inclusion through direct cultural experiences.
The event involved 10 users from the multifunctional centre, accompanied by three centre operators and two staff members from the municipal library. The initiative was organised in collaboration with the "G. Buonajuto" Municipal Library and the social cooperative Boetheia onlus.
The activity is part of a broader commitment to make the Park more accessible and inclusive. On-site initiatives like this help engage new audiences and facilitate access to the archaeological heritage, promoting personal and social autonomy through knowledge and enhancement of the territory.
