From today, with an opening at 6:00 PM, until April 23 ADAFA in Cremona (Via Palestro 32) presents the solo exhibition by Eliso Subacchi entitled "In the Sign of Colour." The show groups recent works and selected key pieces from the artist's past into three thematic sections.
At the vernissage the institution's president and deputy will introduce the event, while Annalisa Subacchi and Valentina Giugni will read poems from Antonella Zaglio's book "Sussurri d'Anima."
Curator Simone Fappanni highlights the artist's renewed commitment to painting and the persistent themes—since the 1990s—of elegant female subjects, vertical silhouettes and a warm, textured use of colour that conveys musicality and poetic nuance. The exhibition is accompanied by an informational brochure and is recommended for those interested in contemporary figurative painting with regional roots and experimental surface techniques.
