“Dracula and Mina”: solo exhibition by Natascia De Sanctis

Galleria Patrizia Anastasi presents "Dracula and Mina", a solo exhibition by artist Natascia De Sanctis. The opening reception takes place on Friday 17 April 2026 at 18:00 at Associazione Culturale Plus Arte Pulse, Viale Giuseppe Mazzini 1/A, Rome.

The exhibition features works that immerse visitors in a surreal, gothic atmosphere, drawing from the themes of Bram Stoker's novel filtered through visual interpretation. De Sanctis works primarily with soft pastels, producing hazy, layered surfaces created both with eyes open and closed as part of a practice that probes the unconscious.

The opening will include a vocal performance by Japanese soprano Erika Nakanishi, and event photography will be by Dino Fiore and Giada Iuliano.

Artistic notes

Highlighted in the exhibition is the piece titled "DRACULA 1", executed in soft pastel on a 70×100 cm support. The show underscores De Sanctis's interest in the intersection of technique and inner vision: drawings act as portals to introspection, blending cinematic echoes with expressive mark-making.

This exhibition suits visitors interested in evocative, narrative-driven contemporary art that dialogues with gothic imagery and experimental practices.
