CNEL and the Association of Historic Residences of Italy (Adsi) have signed a memorandum of understanding to pool skills and resources for the protection and enhancement of dispersed historic heritage, focusing on small towns and rural territories.
The initiative is based on the recognition that listed historic properties in villages are not only cultural assets but also social and economic anchors that can activate local value chains and promote sustainable tourism.
CNEL president Renato Brunetta described the agreement as a step toward a «network of networks» to valorise historical and cultural realities. For Adsi president Maria Pace Odescalchi, the protocol strengthens a shared vision in which dispersed heritage is a strategic resource for territorial futures.
The collaboration foresees joint events and initiatives to bring together expertise, studies and field experience aimed at regenerating local contexts, supporting territorial economies and addressing depopulation challenges.
