Metropolitan City publishes 2026 notices for grants to municipalities and the third sector

The Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria has published two separate public notices for grants for the 2026 fiscal year, aimed at municipalities and at cultural associations and third-sector non-profit entities.

The initiative falls within the Metropolitan City's role in coordinating local development, with the aim of promoting actions that create public value, strengthen social cohesion and support sustainable economic growth.

  • Goals: cultural promotion, enhancement of volunteering, local development and protection of material and immaterial heritage.

Acting metropolitan mayor Carmelo Versace and the cultural delegate Michele Conia emphasize culture as a strategic lever for citizenship rights and economic development, and highlight the inclusion of volunteering in cultural policies as a deliberate choice to foster sustainable development and civic participation.
