When a bank becomes a gallery: BCC Pachino showcases Giovanni Bongiovanni

The Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Pachino is taking part in BCC Arte&Cultura's "Futuri Emergenti Italiani", converting branches into exhibition spaces to promote under‑35 artists. In Sicily the initiative features the young painter Giovanni Bongiovanni from Augusta.

Itinerary in Sicily:

• Messina: mid‑April to mid‑July 2026
• Etna area: mid‑July to September 2026
• BCC Pachino headquarters: October to December 2026

The nationwide project involves 112 BCC branches and is mapped by Cesare Biasini Selvaggi with scientific support from Mario Bronzino. The bank highlights how local cultural initiatives can foster community development and participation.

Cultural relevance: the programme rethinks exhibition spaces by bringing contemporary art into everyday settings, widening public access to emerging artistic talent.
