Chianciano Terme: 'Artisti in Blu – Riflessi nel Cristallo' opens April 11 (7th edition)

Opening date: April 11, 2026. The collective exhibition Artisti in Blu – Riflessi nel Cristallo returns to Chianciano Terme for its seventh edition, showcasing reinterpretations of 20th-century masterpieces created by young artists from the Associazione Autismo Siena workshops.

This edition explores the languages and influences of the 20th century, with works that highlight bold color use and personal approaches to familiar subjects. The exhibition is organized in a distributed format to engage the local community.

  • Opening: April 11, 2026 (public event including project presentation and talks).
  • Venues: over 40 paintings will be on display at the Istituto Superiore Alberghiero P. Artusi; about 20 works will be shown in various commercial venues across Chianciano Terme.
  • Inspiration: pieces draw on works from the Museo del Novecento in Milan and authors such as Giorgio Morandi, Ennio Morlotti, Ardengo Soffici and Marino Marini.
  • Purpose: to promote the artistic expression of young people with autism and to foster cultural and social inclusion through art.

Prior to the opening there will be a public discussion on educational and employment inclusion for people with autism, involving operators, families and institutions.

Visitors are advised to check opening times and locations at the host venues and participating businesses. The distributed display lets visitors discover the artworks while walking through Chianciano Terme's center.
