From May 8 to June 27, Palazzo Sersale in Cerisano will host the inaugural edition of the School of Politics, an initiative converting the historic center into a European training and discussion hub.
The program is part of a broader cultural regeneration effort aimed at using education as a driver for local development. Participants will follow a structured curriculum delivered by internationally-profiled instructors and will take part in immersive community life within the village.
The teaching team is designed to provide multiple perspectives on contemporary politics: academics and practitioners with international, economic and legal backgrounds will lead lectures, workshops and seminars.
Applications are open until the deadline set by the organizers; prospective participants should check eligibility requirements and the procedures to apply for places and available lodging. The format mixes theoretical study with hands-on and community activities, enabling participants to experience the village as a living classroom.
This project confirms a growing trend of leveraging small historic villages as platforms for cultural and educational initiatives, supporting skills exchange and the revitalization of southern Italian town centers.
