The Brera district strengthens its role as a year-round design hub with 220 active showrooms. This edition introduced Passport, a digital platform that streamlines event access via a personal QR code. The service has already reached 30,000 registered users.
Profile data indicate a majority of Italian participants (65%) alongside a substantial international audience (35%), with Brazil among the top foreign markets. Registration also shows a clear female majority: 67% of users are women. The audience includes many design students, architects and young design enthusiasts.
Emerging trends point to a renewed interest in limited editions and high-quality objects, often perceived by younger visitors as potential investments. There is also growing attention to social design and projects with local impact.
To navigate the district, consider a walking route from Porta Nuova to Via Manzoni, crossing Brera's main streets where installations and showrooms are concentrated.
Collective projects include national showcases from Switzerland, Belgium, China, Japan, France, Austria, Uzbekistan, Spain and Singapore.
Passport does not remove queues but speeds up check-ins: registered visitors receive a personal QR code to check in to selected events. Brera offers a compact itinerary of instagrammable installations and showrooms operating year-round, ideal for contemporary design enthusiasts.
