Pamela Diamante's installation creates a physical and contemplative itinerary built from iron structures and ceramic elements. Acquired by the Pinacoteca Metropolitana "Corrado Giaquinto" with support from PAC2025, the work stems from conversations with migrant women and explores themes of labor, adaptation and collective memory.
The installation evokes a hive-like assembly of metallic bodies that, while not physically passable, invites visitors into a reflection on the relationship between body and work. Iron columns reference the heights and gestures of the participants, translating everyday labor into a sculptural language that highlights dignity and hardship. The project combines anthropological listening and artistic practice to bring visibility to lives that often remain marginalized.
For practical information and visiting hours, contact the Pinacoteca Metropolitana "Corrado Giaquinto" or the Sala del Colonnato. The work is part of a contemporary art program supported by the Ministry of Culture.
