Centenario: Ranaldi unveils plan for a new cultural economy

Ranaldi has introduced a proposal in Centenario aimed at promoting a new cultural economy, turning artistic heritage and cultural assets into drivers of local development and employment.

The plan, designed to involve institutions, cultural operators and creative businesses, focuses on several operational areas:

• Heritage enhancement: actions on local sites and collections to improve accessibility and attractiveness.
• Urban regeneration: repurposing abandoned spaces for cultural use and creative coworking.
• Training and skills: programs for young people and cultural professionals.
• Funding models: public‑private partnerships, local funds and platforms for micro‑support to cultural projects.
• Digitalization: development of digital tools for promotion, access and cultural commerce.

According to the proposal, implementation could boost skilled employment, new cultural enterprises and cultural tourism. Ranaldi also announced the launch of consultation tables with local stakeholders to define the timing and priorities of the measures.
