A night that brings cinema and community together: Sunday, April 5 at 8:00 PM Cinema Teatro Italia in Castel di Sangro will host Peppe Iodice and the full cast of the comedy "Mi batte il corazon" for a public meeting.
Directed by Francesco Prisco and based on the stage piece Ho visto Maradona, the film follows the surreal story of Peppe Iovine, a journalist whose life changes after a heart attack and who astonishingly awakens during his own funeral. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director and several cast members.
Mayor Angelo Caruso said the event "reinforces Castel di Sangro's role as a reference point for high-quality cultural initiatives," emphasizing the value of direct encounters between artists and the community. The production is by Alessandro and Andrea Cannavale for Run Film, with original music by Adriano Pennino.
The event highlights the territory's ability to attract cultural projects that combine entertainment and reflection, providing moments of direct engagement for local audiences.
