Houses of Memory: over 150 house-museums open on April 18–19

The International Days of Houses of Memory return for a second edition: on April 18 and 19 more than 150 Italian institutions, across 18 regions, will open residences and studios linked to figures who shaped cultural history.

• Global participation: over 400 institutions worldwide.
• In Italy: more than 150 house-museums in 18 regions.
• Venue types: historic homes, monumental villas, artists' ateliers, thematic museums and private residences turned into memory sites.
• Organisers and partners: promoted by the National Association of Houses of Memory with support from the Ministry of Culture and collaboration with ICOM and specialised committees.
• Bookings: available until April 15 (as indicated by the organisers).

The event invites visitors to explore personal spaces and the cultural contexts that fostered important works and ideas, connecting local sites to an international network of memory and heritage.
