The exhibition "Impressionism and Modernity" at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Casa Cavazzini in Udine has surpassed 40,000 admissions roughly two and a half months after its opening. The display includes 84 works from the collection of the Kunst Museum Winterthur, covering art from Impressionism to classical Modernity of the early 20th century.
Regional representatives highlighted that these figures reflect successful cooperation between public and private cultural partners and the ability of major museum events to generate significant and lasting tourist flows. More than 500 groups—school classes and adult parties—have visited, with substantial international attendance from Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Croatia and visitors from Serbia, France, the UK, Spain and the US.
Visitors are advised to check opening hours and ticketing details in advance. For group visits, booking ahead is recommended to ensure a smooth experience. The exhibition reinforces Udine and the Friuli Venezia Giulia region's cultural appeal by offering a distinctive and high-quality museum event.
