On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May 2026 the FAI organizes a nationwide program focused on biodiversity. The initiative includes guided walks, wildlife observations, workshops for children and citizen science sessions aimed at engaging citizens and families in habitat conservation.
Activities are designed for a wide audience: these are not technical hikes but accessible routes led by professionals such as biologists, botanists, ornithologists, park rangers, beekeepers and nature guides.
Clothing and gear: wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the terrain and weather. Bring a water bottle, a light backpack and a notebook. If possible, bring binoculars for birdwatching or a magnifying lens to examine plants and insects.
Booking and access: check schedules, meeting points and access rules for the selected site: some activities require prior reservation or have limited places.
These "Walks for Biodiversity" are a practical chance to discover varied landscapes, learn to identify local species and take part in protecting habitats. For the full program and updates on individual events, consult the official channels of the local Delegations.
