Buonconvento: Antique Fair "Cose del Passato" (3-6 April 2026)

Between 3 and 6 April the medieval village of Buonconvento (Siena) becomes the setting for the 42nd edition of the Antique Fair "Cose del Passato", a town-wide event focused on antiques, vintage items and reuse. Historic workshops and disused premises in the centre are revived as exhibition spaces offering furniture, collectibles and 20th-century artworks.

The fair highlights sustainability by promoting recovery and reuse as part of a circular economy and encouraging gentle mobility. On Monday 6 April the historic Treno Natura will run into Buonconvento, providing a slow-travel option through the Tuscan countryside.

Program overview

• Friday 3 April: opening ceremony and evening toast; traditional Good Friday procession performance (21:00).
• Saturday 4 April: family activities at the Museo della Mezzadria, including a creative workshop and egg hunt; at 17:00 narrated and sung stories about the Passion at the Museum of Sacred Art.
• Sunday 5 April: concert by Nicola Costanti in Via Soccini and continuation of street markets.
• Monday 6 April: themed markets "Create and Demonstrate" and "Collector's Corner"; access via the Treno Natura.
