Basilicata: Rotonda hosts "Orti, Viaggi e Tradizioni"

On April 25–26 Rotonda (PZ) will host "Orti, Viaggi e Tradizioni", an event organized by the municipality within the Sentieri del Benessere project. The initiative aims to enhance the Pollino area through experiential tourism that combines culture, food and wellbeing activities for both visitors and local communities.

The program offers events for different audiences, from theatre to educational workshops, highlighting food as a tool of memory and social connection that strengthens local identity.

• Saturday, April 25, 9:00 PM: at Cine-Teatro Selene the theatrical performance "Cunti di casa" by Egidia Bruno, followed by the talk "Restanza e tradizioni" led by Silvestro Maradei.
• Sunday, April 26, from 10:00 AM: at the Geo-Paleontological and Archaeological Museum (Mugepa): breakfast, a workshop and reading for children and youths ("Viaggio intorno al pomodoro", for ages 3+) and, simultaneously, a presentation of the book "Viaggio intorno al pomodoro" for adults with Ilario Giuliano (Coccole Books) and nutritionist Miriana Paladino; moderated by Silvestro Maradei. Participants will receive a small gift.

Sentieri del Benessere is an urban and social regeneration project supported by the Basilicata Region and involving Rotonda, Nova Siri, Latronico, Chiaromonte and San Severino Lucano. It seeks to promote routes that connect inland areas to the coast, valorising nature, culture and gastronomy as drivers of territorial development and community wellbeing.
