Aprile Arte in Barzanò: schedule and practical info

The cultural program Aprile Arte returns to Barzanò featuring several exhibitions and activities organized by the Municipal Culture Commission. Events take place at the Canonica di San Salvatore and the Library, via Pirovano 5, including illustration displays, photography and a children's workshop.

  • Filippo Brunello – "The Colour of Words. Illustrations and Other Adventures"
    A solo show presenting picture books, original plates and large-scale paintings. Opening on Saturday 11 April at 16:00; exhibition runs from 11 to 19 April at the Canonica di San Salvatore.

    Opening hours: Sunday 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00; Thursday 10:00-12:00; Saturday 14:00-18:00.

  • Elena Morlacchi – "Journey through Rocks, Ice and Desert"
    Illustrated plates paired with poems by Raffaella Valsecchi, depicting mountain landscapes and extreme environments. On display in the Library from 11 to 19 April.

    Library hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 15:00-18:00; Thursday 10:00-12:00; Saturday 9:00-12:00 and 14:30-16:30; Sunday 10:00-12:00.

  • Children's workshop – "Circles of Colour"
    Run by Associazione Molo with Roberta Pizzagalli: make colourful spinning tops and circles. For ages 4–10. Takes place on Saturday 18 April at 15:00 in the Library (via Pirovano 5). Free participation; reservation required by 16 April via email to [email protected].

  • Further exhibitions: from 24 April to 3 May at the Canonica the solo show by Rossana La Verde "When You Want, Let's Play Together"; in the Library from 26 April to 3 May the photographic exhibition "The Geometry of Thought" by Giovanni Cappelletti.

Practical tips: check opening times before your visit and reserve places for the children's workshop by the deadline. Entry may be limited by venue capacity.
